Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Tavares, FL to hire a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This role involves supporting the districts Occupational Therapists in providing therapy services to students to help them achieve their educational and functional goals in the school setting.
Job Requirements:

Active Florida COTA license

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
Job Duties:

Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills for classroom success

Maintain accurate therapy documentation and track student progress

Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into daily activities
